As it stands, we currently only allow applications to be added manually if they don't exist in our database. The way we determine if something is in our database is by asking the user to perform a search, and as soon as there are 0 results returned, they can choose to create a new application. However. Sometimes an application has a short name, which shows results e.g. Base will return Basecamp, Firebase etc.; and then the user will not be shown a prompt to manually add this their account. That's why we'll now rework the interface so this option is always available, with a slightly adapted wording and iconography to make it more obvious what this option does (see attachment).
